I gave Claude and ChatGPT the same raw video and told them to edit me a reel.
Same clips. Same skill. Same one-line prompt. One of them clearly won, but the other caught something it missed.
ChatGPT has started watermarking its writing, a free year of Claude for startups, and Anthropic's take on who actually gets paid when AI does the work.
And I just launched the Clone Yourself module in the Dojo, so I'll walk you through how to build your AI second brain in Claude Code.
Let's jump in.
THIS WEEK IN AI
1
Why it matters: It's called textGrain. It tweaks which words the model picks, so you can't see it, but a detector can. It's rolling out in the EU first, and API users anywhere can switch it on.
For now only approved researchers have the detector. But if you're pasting AI drafts straight into emails and posts, this is your sign to stop. Edit it into your own voice.

Why it matters: If your company is under 5 years old, you likely qualify. No VC funding required. You get a free year of Claude Team for up to 5 seats, $1,000 in API credits, and office hours with Anthropic's team.
You apply with your business email and most people hear back in minutes. Go do it today.

Why it matters: Their economists modeled what happens by 2030 if AI turns out as big as the internet, if it can do half of all knowledge work, or if it beats us at most of it. The economy grows in all three.
What changes is who gets paid. Right now workers take 60% of the pie and owners take 40%. In the biggest scenario, owners pass workers. If AI is doing more of the work, you want to own the AI and the business. Your first hire is AI.

THE SIDE BY SIDE
Opus 5.5 vs GPT-6 Astra
Same clips. Same skill. Same prompt.
I recorded a video in Edits, grabbed some b-roll images, and dropped everything into Claude and ChatGPT.
Then I gave them both the same video editing skill and told them to make me a finished reel using the clips I provided. That's it. One line.
I kept it simple on purpose because I wanted to see what each model would do on its own.
Opus 5.5 won overall.
But GPT-6 Astra stabilized the footage. Opus didn't even think to do that, and it's a really nice detail.
Had I gone deeper on the prompt and the b-roll, both would've been way better. But this is a good read on what they do when you just let them cook.
Verdict: Opus 5.5 takes it overall. Just tell it to stabilize your footage, because it won't think of it on its own.

SKILL OF THE WEEK
Video Edit Skill (by @tenfoldmarc)
Free and open source. Built for Claude Code.
This is the skill I gave both models.
Drop in your raw talking-head clips and it picks your best take of every line, cuts the dead air, punches in from 4K, cuts you out of the background so text can sit behind your head, and adds captions in one of three designed looks.
To install it, paste this into Claude Code: "Install this skill for me" plus the GitHub link.
It needs ffmpeg, Node and Python. Don't have them? Just ask Claude Code to install them.
Verdict: If you edit your own reels, install it.

NEW IN THE DOJO
Clone Yourself: build your AI second brain in Claude Code 🧠
If you're still not happy with your AI outputs, this is the fix.
Everyone's talking about an AI second brain but here's what it actually is.
It's basically a series of text files. One that knows your voice. One that knows your audience. One that knows your business. And one that manages all of them, so Claude knows which context to pull and when.
You don't write these yourself. Claude does it for you. You feed it your stuff: transcripts, emails, old posts, voice notes. Then you keep dumping new material into folders and the brain keeps itself up to date. It gets better every week.
This is how I get Claude to write like me instead of like AI. Every newsletter you read from me starts here.
The Clone Yourself module walks you through the whole build inside Claude Code. The files, the folders, the prompts, and the slash commands that build it for you.
And it's not locked to one app. It's just files, so it works in Claude, ChatGPT, or whatever agent you use next.
