Big week, and there is more coming.
Anthropic dropped a new model on Monday. I am putting it through something big right now, and I will show you what came back when it is done.
ChatGPT finally lets you connect more than one Gmail, and finally lets you change the email address on your account. Both small, both years overdue, both things I will use every single day.
I also went through the most downloaded skills in the world and found the one I nearly sat down and built myself last week.
Lots to get into. Let's go.
THIS WEEK IN AI
1
Why it matters: Out September 1. The most capable model they have released, built for jobs that run for hours instead of minutes, and it is in the Claude app on Pro and Max, not just the API. Same price as Fable 5, with cache reads cut 75%, so normal work runs about 25% cheaper and agent work up to 45% cheaper. It more than doubled the last model's score on the Terminal Bench science test at 52.6%. The ceiling on what you can hand it in one go just moved.

Why it matters: The self serve Ads Manager is open at ads.openai.com, the $50,000 minimum that gated the pilot is gone, and it goes live across the European Economic Area and Switzerland on September 4. CPC bidding, a conversions API, pixel tracking, all the things you would expect. ChatGPT ads are already past a billion dollars in annualized run rate. Whatever you think about ads turning up in the answers, this is a brand new place to buy attention while it is still cheap, and that window is usually about a year.

Why it matters: Google's workhorse model for coding and agents, out three weeks after 3.6, and the introductory price is half per million tokens. They also shipped 3.5 Transcribe, a speech to text model built for noisy audio and technical jargon. If you are running anything that loops away in the background, the floor on what that costs keeps dropping, and that is the entire reason one person can now run things that used to need a team.

QUICK WIN
Connect more than one Gmail to ChatGPT
Personal inbox and work inbox, in the same conversation, finally.
Plugins in the sidebar, find Gmail, hit the gear on the account you already connected, add the second one. Same deal for Google Calendar and Contacts. Then you toggle between them.
Two minutes of work, and ChatGPT stops seeing half your life.
Two accounts on the Gmail plugin, business and personal, and a button sitting right there for a third.
QUICK WIN
Change the email on your ChatGPT account
Mine was stuck on an address from a business that does not exist any more.
That email was genuinely the last thing left of it. And until this week the only way off it was starting a brand new account and losing every conversation, project and custom instruction in the old one.
Settings, account, click your email, verify the new one. Web only, and if you signed up with Google or Apple you set a password first.
Type the new address, verify it, done. This dialog did not exist a week ago.
TOOL OF THE WEEK
CodexBar
Free, open source, macOS
You know the moment. You are in the middle of building something, it is going well, and it stops. Limit reached.
And you have no idea whether you are waiting twenty minutes or five hours, so you either sit there refreshing like an idiot or you go and do something else and lose the thread completely.
CodexBar puts it in your menu bar. How much you have burned, session and weekly, and exactly when the window resets.
It reads 69 providers. Claude, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, Copilot, and basically everything else you have ever signed up for and forgotten about.
It sounds like a small thing. It is not. Knowing you have 20% left changes what you hand it next. You save the big ask for after the reset and do the small stuff now, instead of finding the wall by driving into it.
Verdict: install it today. Free, takes a minute, and you will never go back to guessing.

CODEXBAR
60% of the session left, resets in 2h 53m. 73% of the week left, resets in 5d 4h. No more guessing.
SKILL OF THE WEEK
Find Skills
Free, open source
I went through the five most downloaded skills in the world this week and number one is not what you would guess. It is not a writing skill or a design skill. Its entire job is finding you the right skill for whatever you are doing.
3.2 million installs. Built by Vercel Labs. This is the one I nearly rebuilt from scratch.
Here is why that number is that big. Skills are the best thing to happen to Claude Code and Codex all year, and the library got large enough that nobody knows what is in it any more. So everybody does exactly what I did.
This one checks first. You say what you are trying to do, it searches the registry, it shows you the candidates with their install counts, and it installs the one you pick.
npx skills add vercel-labs/skills/find-skills
One command. Works in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and about eighteen others.
Verdict: install it before you build another skill. Nine times out of ten somebody already made it and theirs is better.

THE LEADERBOARD
Number one out of 1.3 million installs tracked, and the only one on the list whose job is finding the rest of them.
Hot Take
Sound is the cheapest way to make something feel finished.
Everybody obsesses over the layout and the font and the colour, and then you click the button and nothing happens. No feedback, no weight, nothing. That is most of the reason a thing you built yourself still feels like a thing you built yourself.
Cuelume is seventeen interaction sounds for the web. Chimes, sparkles, droplets, that sort of thing, wired to hover, press, release and toggle.
The whole library is under 5 KB, because there are no audio files in it. It synthesizes the sounds on the spot. You add a data attribute to a button and it works.
Four minutes of work, MIT licensed, free forever. Biggest jump in how finished something feels that I have found for the effort.
BUILD THIS YOURSELF
Turn your Instagram saves into next week's content
You save posts with every intention of going back to them. You have never once gone back.
The Instagram saves engine pulls everything you have ever saved into a Notion table, so it is searchable instead of buried inside an app that makes it deliberately hard to find anything twice.
That part I have had running for a while. This week I took it further.
Now it reads what you saved. It looks at what keeps coming back, which topics repeat, which formats you are drawn to, and it hands you three content ideas built for you and your business. Not three generic ideas. Three that only make sense because of what is sitting in your saves.
Think about what that folder actually is. Every time you saved something you told the truth about what you find interesting, with nobody watching and nothing to prove. That is better data on your own taste than any audit I could run on you.
And everybody is sitting on it doing nothing.
The whole thing is a handful of files you drag into Claude or ChatGPT.
NOTION DASHBOARD
Each idea gets logged into Notion automatically, with the angle, the hook options, the talking points and the post it came from.

Everything I build lands here first
The Instagram saves engine is in there now, the full setup and every file you need.
Weekly live calls, the systems I am actually running, and a room full of solo founders who are shipping instead of researching.
First 7 days are free.
One last thing.
Everything in this issue was made by somebody else. A menu bar app, a skill, a 5 KB sound library. All of it sitting there, free, already finished.
The skill is not knowing how to build. It is knowing what already exists, so the only thing you build is the part that does not.
Keep pushing forward,
Justyn
